Descripción
1-Decanol is used in the production of plasticizers, lubricants, surfactants and solvents. It is also used to study the thermal properties of polymer-monolithic stationary phases. Further, it is used to enhance homomeric glycine receptor function. In addition to this, it is used in daily flavor, food flavor and cosmetics.

AplicacionesEl 1-decanol se utiliza en la producción de plastificadores, lubricantes, surfactantes y disolventes. También se utiliza para estudiar las propiedades térmicas de las fases estacionarias poliméricas-monolíticas. Además, se utiliza para mejorar la función de los receptores homoméricos de glicina. Además de esto, se utiliza como saborizante cotidiano, aromatizante de alimentos y cosméticos.
Solubilidad
Soluble en alcohol, éter. No soluble en agua. Miscible con tetracloruro de carbono, etanol, éter, acetona, benceno, cloroformo y ácido acético glacial. No miscible con agua.
Notas
Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes, cloruros ácidos y anhídridos ácidos.
