ácido 6-aminohexanoico, número de CAS 60-32-2, es un derivado de lisina sintética con actividad inhibidora contra la fibrinólisis.Muestra actividad hematológica.

6-Aminohexanoic acid is used as an intermediate in the polymerization of Nylon-6. It is involved in the extraction of aldehydes from the reaction mixture as well as to improve the solubilization of membrane proteins in electrophoresis. It acts as an inhibitor of fibrinolysis.

Aplicaciones
El ácido 6-aminohexanoico se utiliza como sustancia intermedia en la polimerización de 6-nailon. Participa en la extracción de aldehídos de la mezcla de reacción, así como en la mejora de la solubilización de proteínas de membrana en electroforesis. Actúa como inhibidor de la fibrinólisis.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua. Ligeramente soluble en alcohol. Prácticamente insoluble en éter y cloroformo.
