Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-13750 targets Histone H1 in IF, WB and IHC (P) applications and shows reactivity with human and mouse samples. The MA5-13750 immunogen is nuclei of myeloid leukemia biopsy cells.

This locus is the ortholog of a mouse protein-coding gene that displays characteristics of a linker histone and is expressed in nuclei of late maturing spermatids. The human locus is expressed; however, the open reading frame has been disrupted by a frameshift so it is unlikely to encode a functional protein.
