PA1-834 detects JunD from mouse cells. PA1-834 has been successfully used in Western blot and ChIP procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects proteins from ∽37-41 kDa representing JunD from both un-induced and induced mouse NIH 3T3 cells. The PA1-834 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues G(329) C Q L L P Q H Q V P A Y(341) of mouse JunD. This sequence is comletely conserved between mouse, human and rat. Reconstitute with PBS.
JunD is a transcription factor which is coded by JunD gene. JunD transcriptional activity is modulated by phosphorylation in response to cellular stress via the c-Jun N terminal kinase (JNK)/Stress-Activated Protein Kinase (SAPK) family of protein kinase. Jun proteins are capable of forming dimers with Fos, ATF and CREB family transcription factors to form the AP-1 complex that differentially regulates a variety of target genes involved in cellular growth, proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. Also, JunD plays an important role in metabolism via modulation of IGF-1 signaling pathway.Especificaciones
