Descripción
4-Aminothiophenol is used in the synthesis of pectin-4-aminothiophenol conjugates and it forms self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) in the development of DNA. It is used in the detection of thrombin by protein recognition using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), which finds applications in silver and gold nano particles. It acts as a linker to thiol (SH) functionalizes multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs).

AplicacionesEl 4-aminotiofenol se usa en la síntesis de conjugados de pectin-4-aminotiofenol y forma monocapas autoensambladas (SAM) en el desarrollo del ADN. Se utiliza en la detección de trombina mediante el reconocimiento de proteínas con espectroscopía Raman de superficie mejorada (SERS), que se aplica en las nanopartículas de plata y oro. Actúa como un enlace SH en los tioles que funcionaliza los nanotubos de carbono de pared múltiple (MWCNT).
