Glycerol trioleate can be used as an emulsifier, also as creams, lotions and lipsticks matrix. Used as textile finishing agent in textile industry, also used as additive in pigment grind. In pharm industry, used as ointment, emulsifiable paste, suppository, lotion, emulsifier in air agent, stabilizing agent, lubricating agent, antifoaming agents. In food industry, it has the function as emulsify, disperse, defoaming, blister, antistaling of starch and control fat agglutination, usually used as agent in candy, ice cream, cookie and bread. When used in beverage, could avoid ester to float, and avoid protein to sink, therefore to improve stability. When used in bread, cookie , could improve organization structure, increase volume, antistaling, prolong warranty validity.

Aplicaciones
El trioleato de glicerol se puede utilizar como emulsionante, también como matriz de cremas, lociones y brras de labios. Se ha empleado como agente de acabado textil en la industria textil, también como aditivo en la molienda de pgimentos. Se ha usado en la industria farmacéutica como ungüento, pasta emulsionable, supositorio, loción, agente emulsionante en aire, agente estabilizador, agente lubricante, agente antiespumante. En el sector alimentario, tiene la función de emulsionar, dispersar, desespumar, ampollar, antiespumar el almidón y controlar la aglutinación de las grasas, generalmente utilizado como agente en dulces, helados, galletas y pan. Cuando se utiliza en bebidas, puede evitar que el éster flote, y que la proteína se hunda, por lo tanto, sirve para mejorar la estabilidad. Cuando se destina al pan o las galletas , puede mejorar la estructura de la organización, aumentar el volumen, evitar que se estropee, prolongar la validez de la garantía.

Solubilidad
Soluble en cloroformo, éter y tetracloruro de carbono.
